I installed the latest XP Service Pack last night before bed. This morning I woke up and began surfing the net and started noticing something different...something wonderful...something very...un-XP like: no popups. Sure, I use the Google Toolbar and it's served me well. So far, it's blocked 10,075 ads in less than six months. But a lot still get through and it's VERY annoying. I've spent an hour online and I have YET to get a popup. Oh glory of glories...XP is FINALLY doing it's job! It's the small things in life like this that make me giddy. And yes, I'm aware that I'm a huge nerd. :)
