*grumpy mumblings*

Ah-brahahkkast-meekverss-mmmhfffff!!! That's me early in the morning and this one is no exception. I just did NOT want to roll out of bed. I didn't get to sleep this morning until around 2:30. Me and Jason spent a couple of hours lying in bed, catching up on the week, and just talking about this and that. We haven't really seen each other much this week, what with him working seven days straight and me in school. Isn't it sad that we have to catch-up? Such is life I suppose. I'm just not a morning person in general though. One of those who wakes up smiling, yawns, breathes in the fresh morning air and hops to it. Mornings suck people. But alas, the state says that I must send the boy off to get edu-macated and I myself must attend classes this morning. For those of you who don't know, it sucks being a responsible adult sometimes.

So I never got around to telling about my first day of the semester. Well, I left the house around 7:45AM and headed into town. As predicted, the traffic on 204/Abercorn was just outrageous. It was bumper-to-bumper for miles and miles and miles. And I had the great misfortune of being next to the crappiest little rice-rocket in town. The owner, a girl of about 18, had the stereo pumped up and was playing some gangsta rap that had her entire car shaking. I could literally hear the damn thing shaking. She was drowning out Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, so I put a mild curse on her and lucky for me (and her!), she got off two redlights later. Good for her too, because I was this close to rolling down my car window and telling her to cut her shit down. Dumbass. Her stereo sounded like a $2 special from the dustbin at Goodwill. And her speakers were just...bad...very bad. I fear for her today if we meet up. *throws fist into air*

So I arrived at school and immediately made my way to the bookstore. There were already about 20 people sitting or standing in the court to get in. It was close to 8:15AM, so I started reading over my Algebra book and waited for them to open at 8:30. Well, they unlock the doors and everyone stands in line to get in. Now, at this point, there are already about 30-35 people. Most everyone there had a 9AM class, so the bookstore, in their infinite wisdom, decided to only allow five people in at a time. You...dumbasses. She announced it and I, not really thinking that I was speaking out loud, said "Oh for fucks sake!" The cute little guy in front of me with the wild curly hair *sighs* turned back and winked. Hehe. So I waited in line for another 15 minutes before I was allowed through the velvet ropes. I went in, grabbed my Political Science book, a binder, a couple of pens, and a notepad and got the hell out of Dodge.

I made it to my first class, Algebra, on time and everything went cool. Shocking as it may seem, I actually think I'm the smartest person in there. What a reverse from last semester! So class ended at 10 and I had an hour to fool around until Political Science. I staked out the lecture room it was going to be held in, found it empty, and sat down to read. Before long, people started filing in and then the Prof came in. Did you know that there are 100 people in that damn class? Geezus! I knew there were a lot that came in, but I had no idea. So my teacher, Skidmore-Hess, seems pretty cool, but very tough. Nothing I can't handle though. He handed out our syllabus, told us to read chapters 1-2, told us to prepare to take lots of notes on Wednesday (today) and he dismissed us. Cool! So I hauled ass out the door and got in my car and drove home.

And there you go...my first day. I have pictures, because I'm a big nerd, but I don't have time to upload them now. I'll do it later when I get home. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to take a quick shower and head out the door or I'm going to be late. Toodles noodles!
