Back to School I Go...

I spent a little over two hours in Victor Hall today registering for Fall semester. I'm happy to report that everything is cool and I will be starting bright and early Monday morning. Last semester I took four classes, which looking back, was a little too much for me. I've decided that I'm only going to take two classes this semester, that way I can focus all of my attention towards passing this damn Math class. I will conquer the class this year. Math will be my bitch by December 3rd. I didn't do so well last semester because I was writing 13-page essays every few weeks. On top of that I had art projects and history tests to study for. I think by taking only one other class this semester, my chances of passing Math will be MUCH greater. I can do this! I just need to buckle down and study a lot. It also wouldn't hurt for me to take part in some of the labs offered either. I already have the course book, so that's $86.00 I'll be saving. Good for me, eh? The only bad thing is that I'm having to take the same instructor as I did last semester. You know, the one that doesn't like to answer questions in class? Yep...*deep sigh*...but I've got her number and I know how she operates, so I don't see any problems this time. *crosses fingers*

Now the second course I'm taking is Political Science/History of America/Georgia History, which I'm VERY excited about. The title of the class makes it sound like a doozy, doesn't it? I personally think that the class is going to be a piece of cake. History has always been one of my strongest subjects, and it's also one of my most favorite. I still need to get the course books for the class, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that the bookstore will have what I need.

Well, I must go. I have two hungry males sniffing around the house and I need to get some supper started. Weather permitting, look for a Friday post tomorrow. :)

P.S. Did I mention that I made the Dean's List for Spring 2004? I didn't even know myself until today when my advisor pointed it out while she was reviewing my records. My GPA is: 3.66. Not bad for my first semester, but I think it can be better, don't you? Hehe... *does dance* I'll see if I can find a clipping or something and I'll post it. :)
